Advance Australian fare this summer with Australian gins and seasonal garnishes that lift your spirit enjoyment to the next level.

Australia's appetite for gin in all its guises is ravenous. The "gin boom" has seen new distilleries open all over the country, each one imparting its own flavour and style nuances with bespoke botanicals and distilling techniques.

South Australia's 23rd Street Distillery crafts gin in copper stills that were once used at Hardy's Tintara Winery in McLaren Vale. Head to Victoria's Yarra Valley to the Melbourne Gin Company, where winemaker Andrew Marks creates an artisanal gin infused with grapefruit and rosemary grown at his own winery garden. In the Mornington Peninsula, family-owned Bass & Flinders produces grape spirit using a traditional alembic pot still. Go west to Margaret River where The West Winds fashions a bold savoury gin from botanicals and local rainwater. Throw your own gin garden party this season with these amazing Australian gins that come to life when paired with an array of garnishes from lemon and grapefruit to mint and cucumber.

23rd Street Distillery Signature Gin

Signature Gin aromas are led by juniper, Riverland mandarin and coriander, with hints of spices. On the palate, juniper is closely followed by mandarin and fresh lime. Spices support the flavour experience with softness and complexity.

The Melbourne Gin Company Single Shot

This Single Shot gin has great intensity, complexity and balance, finishing long and smooth. Its punchy alcohol level ensures the gin flavour will shine through in a G&T or a negroni. Serve with a slice of orange and sprig of thyme.

The West Winds Gin The Sabre

The Sabre is a traditional British-style gin led by citrus, juniper and classic coriander seed. The addition of wattleseed adds depth and introduces a creamy texture. Perfect as a classic Gin and Tonic with a wedge of lemon.

Bass & Flinders Cerise Gin

Bass & Flinders is an artisanal distillery located on the Mornington Peninsula. Its Cerise Gin is a contemporary gin with distinctive colour, created by infusing the hand-crafted grape-based spirit with local cherries and raspberries.
