Feel the need for a celebration? Founded at the start of the 19th Century, the house today owns a tiny 65 hectares of the finest vineyards in the five major Crus; Cramant, Avize, Mailly, Aÿ & Dizy, rated at an average of 99.2% on the Champagne Appellation quality scale.

'This provides a third of the House's needs, the remainder coming from small local growers, many of whom have supplied Perrier-Jouët for generations. There have only been seven Cellarmasters since the Houses inception in 1811, each a family member, and each carefully trained by his predecessor to retain the purity, character, legacy and style of Perrier-Jouët. The Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut has a ripe stone fruit nose with hints of spice, followed by an amazingly rounded, floral palate.' - Mark Faber, Vintage Cellars Double Bay.

The definition of elegant. One of the best champagnes I’ve ever had. Chardonnay dominate, floral notes, refined bubbles and ever so elegant.

I've always seen the brand 'Perrier Jouet' as my go to for an every day Champagne that I could drink for any occasion. The Belle Epoque Vintage however is something a little more specials. This wine is everything I want in a premium Champagne, it's floral on the nose, with hints of zest and brioche, and it's palate is absolutely delectable. Not an every day wine, but sure as hell a top shelf pick for those special occasions worth celebrating a little more for.
