Cellar Press Special
Light on the nose with soft scents of orange. The lightness continues onto the palate, with originally a sweet offering, before developing a slight bitterness on the finish. Fresh orange is evident, with rhubarb aromas lingering.'The fluorescent orange colour of Aperol is a common sight on tables at Italian tourist spots. It’s a Campari-like Italian sweet/ bitter aperitif, but lower in alcohol, and a little less pungent. Its bitter orange aroma and flavour are very inviting with ice, a splash of soda and a slice of orange'.- Sydney Morning Herald, 19 Aug 2014, by Ralph Kyte-Powell.
