570 Vines

What is the significance of the number 570? That is the number of vines that were first transported to our shores in 1832. They have been carefully collected from Spain and France for the purpose of starting the first vineyards in Australia. After a remarkable journey of 4 months at sea, they finally made it to Australia and started what are now some of the most prestigious wine growing regions in the world.

The 570 Vine winemakers combine time-tested methods with gifted intuition. Producing award winning wine, 570 Vines have perfected the art of creating a Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Sauv Blanc grape. The Barossa Shiraz is full of ripe cherry and sweet spice flavours reinforced by hints of mocha and vanilla. The classic Shiraz boasts flavours of raspberries, mulberries and cherries combine with clove black pepper and subtle oak for a full bodied smooth and juicy Shiraz.

570 Vines have also produced two outstanding chardonnays. The first being a classic and elegant Tutor Chardonnay, boasting aromas of melon, peaches and a hint of exotic fruit. Ripe and juicy fruit flavours are complemented by a creamy smooth oak, leading into a smooth finish. The second chardonnay is the Seafarer Chardonnay, which is packed full of ripe melon and white peach aromas. Flavours of stone fruit and zesty citrus are evident, balanced out with creamy oak creating a long lingering finish.

The 570 Vine Pinot Noir encompasses a range of enticing aromas of juicy ripe cherries, plums and exotic spices. It contains savoury velvety flavours making it a smooth and palatable wine. Similarly the regional Tumbarumba Pinot Noir shows off delightful aromas of black cherry, mint and hint of oregano. The complex palate is packed with ripe berry and savoury and gamey flavours.

The trophy winner for best Cabernet at the Riverina Wine Show 2016, the Seafarer Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep red wine with a bouquet of ripe plum, blueberry and subtle spice. The palate has mouth filling fruit and soft mid palate structure. Another stand out Cabernet Sauvignon is the Coonawarra, which has intense aromas of blackcurrant, mint and eucalyptus. Lastly, the Seafarer Sauv Blanc is packed with citrus, gooseberries and passionfruit aromas. It is dry and lively in the mouth with flavours of citrus finishing crisp and refreshing.
