Winton Road

Winton Road celebrates the classic rich and complex flavours produced by Old Barossa vines whose lineage dates back as far as the 19th Century. Original Shiraz and Cabernet vine cuttings were brought to Australia by the immigrant German community who helped to found the South Australian and Barossa region as early as 1840. Winton Road is located in the Western Barossa Valley near Gawler.

The Winton Road grapes are specially selected from premium Barossa Valley vineyards, before being precisely vinified using a combination of traditional fermentation. The showcasing Barossa Shiraz has a rich and intense palate where upfront, dark fruit flavours combine perfectly with subtle oak flavours and smooth tannins.

The collection’s complexity and structure results from the 12 months the wines spend gently maturing in a selection of new American oak barrels. Find more out about Winton's Road range here.
