Product Details

Ripe cherries, red currants, satsuma plum with typical Leongatha earthy/ forrest floor and ungrowth notes. The palate is built around a core of juicy fruit with zingy cranberry like acidity and subtle and very fine grained tannins that will soften with bottle age.

I'm no wine expert but I must admit I was a disappointed when a brought a bottle of the 2013 vintage recently. Whilst it was rich in all the usual pinot noir suspects of plum & and ripe red fruit I found the wine a little dull in the glass with a thin palate. It could just be the young vintage or poor storage possibly in the restaurant but I sort of expected more for the price.
