Product Details

Peregrine has been an iconic New Zealand winery producing acclaimed wines since 1998. The McLachlan family, and its remarkable team behind the name, and Winemaker Nadine Cross, have worked to promote and highlight Central Otago’s features in each of their wines, and their worldwide success is proof of their hard work.

The Peregrine Pinot Noir has the intensity and depth of flavour for which Central Otago is becoming known and it's a true reflection of the three subregions that contribute to the wine: Bendigo, Pisa and Gibbston. The pinot family is known as the hero grape variety of Central Otago, so it's little wonder Peregrine dabbles in both pinot noir and pinot gris, and has garnered a fierce following all over the world.

Everything you want in a Central Otago Pinot. Medium bodied with plenty of red fruits coming through. Will not disappoint.

I absolutely love this Pinot Noir from Central Otago. It's rich, intense, and goes down a treat when served slightly chilled. The flavours, aroma and texture of this wine are a true testament to what Central Otago Pinot Noir should taste like. Think the typical flavours of stewed cherries and dark plum you get from a regular Pinot Noir and then times that by two! I paired this with steamed prawn dumplings and couldn't of been happier with this decision!
