Product Details

A dashing pinot if we ever saw one. It has something for everyone, leaning more toward the earthy, savoury side of pinot noir, yet still boasting enough plum and black cherry fruit to please those around your dinner table.

Red cherry and strawberry delight your tastebuds on the first sip, delving in for more you're tasting some more complex savoury notes, light body and velvety tannin, pairs classically with duck or as an accompaniment to a fine cheese board. Great value for money as it's hard to deliver a decent Pinot at this price point!

Marlborogh NZ, and this is a cracker. A light bright crimson colour, aromas of red cherry and crunchy blueberry, The palate is a drive of raspberry and enormous persistence with fine tannins. This a very pretty wine with outstanding VFM. Any duck dish, pork spare ribs, chicken schnitzel or even tuna will make a handsome match.

The 2016 Dashwood Pinot Noir was picked as the Best Red Wine at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards - and is thoroughly deserving of this recognition. A complex Pinot with layers of savoury spice levelled with red cherry and strawberry notes. An absolutely ripper Pinot for the price.
