Product Details

Great wines often take time, and that time is often spent in the chalk cellars of the Champagne region of France. The name, history and legend of Maison Charles de Cazanove — now one of the key houses in the world of Champagne — span more than 200 years, and the quality of its winemaking is evident in each and every drop.

Charles de Cazanove utilises both stainless steel vats and oak barrels in the vinification process, the latter used to deliver fullness to the wine where necessary. Aged for nine years on lees, with the help of a dominant presence of chardonnay, this is a Champagne of unmatched greatness and rightly deserves a place in your sparkling collection.

Adding to these credentials, it’s no surprise that this wine was crafted by the renowned Christophe Rapeneau, winner of the International Wine Challenge’s Sparkling Winemaker of the Year 2017.

I am disappointed with this vintage champagne highly recommended by Vintage Cellar. It’s no better than some of the NV champagne, with its premium label, in terms of complexity, flavours and taste. Maybe it’s reflection of the price point. Will stay with my favorite, the Bollinger.

From GH Martel, this is easily the best value in a vintage Champagne that I've tasted in years. This family owned property goes to the extreme produce top quality. The winemaker was recently named the best in the world! As for the '07, it's a very good vintage. Made from the traditional Champagne grape varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, it spends nine years on the lees! The end result is a complexity that can only come with patience. The wine retains all of the vibrant notes that are typical of Champagne, but the aged component brings the range to a new level. Extremely impressive!

Wow if you are after something different for a premium champagne, give this a go. Not a well known name but this champagne delivers so much flavour and balance that you will be blown away!

An absolute cracking champagne! Crisp and refreshing. Definitely a crowd pleaser next time you're celebrating!!

This is a great champagne for the price, I rate this at the same level as a number of $100+ bottles. Balanced citrus flavours.

You'll be pleasantly surprised by this quality champagne. Not as well known as the big brands but extremely smooth and easy to drink. Great value for money.

Such a wonderful Champagne, and an even more wonderful price. Complex brioche, almond and tight citrus on the nose flow across onto the palate. It has a long, persistent finish with a good line of acid for balance. Do yourself a favour and get a bottle ASAP.

I highly recommend this champagne! Ridiculously under-priced for such exceptional quality.

An exceptional champagne, this outstanding bargain is a true gem skilfully unearthed by the Vintage Cellars team.
